Take the second half of Nevada’s 18-point exhibition loss to Washington, add in the first half of its Sunday exhibition against San Francisco State, and you have a pretty horrid 40 minutes of basketball.
But the second half of Sunday night’s game at Virginia Street Gym was — almost literally — a whole new ballgame.
After being down a point at halftime, the Wolf Pack steamrolled the visiting Gators in the second half, outscoring SFSU, 47-21, in the final 20 minutes on the way to an 85-60 win.
The win gives Nevada a split of its two-game exhibition season.
