From Jerry Scattini in 1969 to Jay Norvell currently, a total of seven head coaches have led Nevada onto the field to face UNLV in the Silver State’s lone college football rivalry.
Here’s a look at how all seven have fared against the Rebels:
The leaders
Chris Ault: Not surprisingly, the man who had three coaching stints at Nevada — and has the playing field named after him — is the Wolf Pack’s biggest winner against the Rebels. Ault was 15-7 against UNLV from 1976 to 2012, even after losing four of his first five games in the series
Jeff Tisdel: A former Pack quarterback under Ault, Tisdel finished 23-22 as Nevada’s head coach, but was 4-0 against UNLV from 1996 through 1999.
