Hall of Fame football coach Chris Ault, who created a scheme to maximize Colin Kaepernick’s potential and helped develop him into a pro quarterback, believes his former pupil should have a job in the NFL.
Ault, who coached Kaepernick at Nevada from 2006-10, said it was “ridiculous” Kaepernick is still a free agent, adding the reason why he doesn’t have a job is because of his protest against social inequality.
“To be honest with you, it’s ridiculous he’s not employed because he is good enough and he is better than half of those guys playing,” Ault told the Reno Gazette-Journal during the Wolf Pack’s practice Monday morning.
