During Nevada football’s first week of spring camp, new assistant coach Angus McClure went for a drive.
He loaded into his vehicle and headed to Sparks. The destination – Home Suites Apartments.
It’s not exactly a tourist destination, but McClure, who accepted a job at Nevada in February after 11 years at UCLA, wanted to see if his old home still existed. McClure coached at Nevada in 1996 as a graduate assistant and lived at Home Suites near the intersection of Lincoln Way and McCarran Boulevard.
