Nevada athletics director Doug Knuth and the university have “mutually agreed” to end Knuth’s time at the school, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Knuth has led the Wolf Pack’s athletics department since 2013, overseeing all but the first year of Nevada’s transition to the Mountain West.
University of Nevada, Reno communications director Scott Walquist said Wednesday afternoon that a formal announcement is forthcoming.
A phone call and text message left for Knuth Wednesday afternoon were not immediately returned.
This story will be updated as details become available.
