Reed High center Ian Neeley butts head against Nick Gregg every day in practice.
So, what’s it like to be drilled by the 6-foot-2, 290-pound nose guard?
“I’d like to imagine the feeling is the same as being hit by a semi-truck,” Neeley said with a laugh.
This season, Gregg has trucked over his share of defenders. A senior captain at Reed, Gregg was the first commitment in the Wolf Pack’s 2016 recruiting class and has been a key building block for the Raiders’ success over the last three seasons. Gregg has started a program-record 43 games since 2013 as the Raiders have piled up a 36-6 record and won three regional titles (Reed has five in a row overall).
