Reed High alum Gabby Williams, who just finished her historic career at Connecticut, has been invited to Thursday's WNBA draft at Nike's New York headquarters.
Williams is one of 10 players who was extended an invitation to the draft, include three from UConn.
The 21-year-old averaged 11.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.6 steals during her senior season. She was named second-team All-America. As a junior, Williams earned first-team All-American honors from the WBCA and USBWA and was named the national defensive player of the year by the WBCA in 2017.

Williams, a 5-foot-11 forward, is projected to be one of the top selections in the three-round, 36-pick draft.
