A fairly uneven performance left Nevada quarterback Ty Gangi disappointed and frustrated, but hopeful his play, and the team’s, can improve.
Toledo beat Nevada, 37-24, Saturday in a non-conference football game at Mackay Stadium
In his second start this season, Gangi, a junior, was 19-of-37 for 277 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception, and had one rushing touchdown. He also ran six times for 15 yards.
Nevada dropped to 0-2, while Toledo improved to 2-0.
“I’m a little frustrated, but (Toledo) is a good team,” Gangi said.
