It’s been a while since Chris Singleton, the greatest two-sport player in Nevada history, was last in Reno.
“I can’t remember the last time I was there,” Singleton said via phone from the suburbs of Atlanta, where he and his family lives. “It’s been a while. At least five to seven years or something like that.”
The last time Singleton remembers being in Reno was 2006 when the Wolf Pack brought back home each of its alums who had played in the big leagues. That changes Friday when Singleton is the keynote speaker at the annual Bobby Dolan Dinner, the biggest fundraiser of the year for Nevada baseball.
