They played about half their usual preseason schedule, seven games, but that's more than some teams got in.
On Friday night the season gets a little more intense for the Nevada men's basketball team though, as Mountain West Conference play begins.
The Nevada men (5-2) host Air Force (2-2) at 7 p.m. (TV-NSN). The game is the second of a day/night Wolf Pack doubleheader. The Wolf Pack women (3-0) play Fresno Pacific at 1 p.m. Friday (TV-NSN), also at Lawlor Events Center. Fans are not allowed into games, for at least the first part of the season.
