Pre-game comment stokes Nevada's fire in rout of Utah State

Be careful what you said to the media.

That’s the lesson Utah State coach Tim Duryea learned from his team’s game at Nevada on Saturday night.

Before the Nevada-Utah State tilt, Duryea was quoted in the local papers with what seemed like an innocuous quote. Duryea said his team’s past close games at Lawlor Events Center were a “source of confidence,” adding Nevada always has a talented team and a tough home-court environment, but the Aggies have risen to the occasion in Reno before and typically had a chance to win in the end.
