LARAMIE, Wyo. – One play in the Nevada-Wyoming game Saturday summed up much of the contest.
That play came early in the third quarter when Wyoming running back Kellen Overstreet was stacked up about a one yard past the line of scrimmage. But the play didn’t end there. The entire Wyoming offensive line got behind Overstreet and pushed him an extra four yards into the end zone.
That score put Wyoming up 28-7 in an eventual 28-21 win and showed which team was more physical.
“They made more plays than we did and frankly they played tougher than we did,” coach Brian Polian said.
