Pitching propels Pack softball to 10th-straight victory

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Nevada softball team extended its winning streak to 10 games, the program’s longest since 2009, with an extra inning victory over UConn, 3-2, and a 2-0 win over UIC on Saturday at the SCU Invitational.

Nevada (12-2) saw two outstanding pitching performances from junior McKenna Isenberg and freshman Brooke Bolinger, who combined to give up only four hits and one earned run in 14 innings. The duo each recorded their fifth wins of the season.

Sophomore Aaliyah Gibson went 3-for-5 on the day with two RBI and the walk-off hit over the Huskies in game No.
