During the NFL season, we tracked how the Wolf Pack alums (in addition to any local prep players) did in the NFL did each week. The regular season ended Sunday. Here’s a recap of the season each local player had in 2015.
* QB Colin Kaepernick, 49ers: The season was a disaster for the 49ers and Kaepernick, who lost his starting job and then had season-ending surgery on his left (non-throwing) shoulder. The 49ers, meanwhile, fired first-year coach Jim Tomsula after finishing the season 5-11. Kaepernick completed 59 percent of his passes for 1,615 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions.
