The college career of quarterback Tyler Stewart ended Saturday when he came crashing down on his right shoulder following a 16-yard run against Wyoming.
The injury knocked Stewart out of the 42-34 loss to Wyoming and Monday it was announced surgery was required, ending Stewart's season and Wolf Pack career.
The play occurred on Nevada's third series as Stewart took off on a quarterback keeper and rushed up the middle for a big gain. After hitting the turf with his right shoulder, he stayed down for a couple of minutes before going to the Wolf Pack locker room.
