Wolf Pack basketball coach Eric Musselman makes his debut in the Nevada-UNLV game Saturday night.
But he’s already been introduced to the rivalry. Musselman was at Nevada’s football game against UNLV in early October, a 23-17 Rebels win at Mackay Stadium. He knows what this game means to Reno.
“Obviously for fans and boosters and the community, there’s no doubt when you play an in-state rival that means something,” Musselman said of the rivalry between the Silver State schools. “I was at the UNLV football game and understand there’s a little more pop when these two teams play each other.
