Amanda Levens, who was hired in late March as Nevada’s women’s basketball coach, has finalized a three-year deal that will pay her an average of $190,000 per season, which ranks third among Wolf Pack coaches.
Levens, the former associate head coach at Arizona State, was hired on March 31 and introduced during a press conference April 5. Her contract wasn’t finalized until Friday when the president’s office signed off on it. The RGJ received a copy of Levens’ contract from the university after a public records request.
Levens’ deal runs through the 2019-20 season. She will get $180,000 in base salary during her first season, $190,000 during her second season and $200,000 during her third season.
