Should they just name the award after the Wolf Pack?
The Nevada basketball program picked up its seventh Mountain West player of the week honor on Monday, with forward Jordan Caroline being named the conference’s top player for his performance in Nevada’s wins over Colorado State and New Mexico.
Wolf Pack players have won seven of this season’s 14 weekly Mountain West honors.
For the week, Caroline averaged 26.5 points and 12.5 rebounds; he also shot 54.5 percent from behind the 3-point line. In Nevada’s win at Colorado State on Wednesday, he scored 40 points, with 30 coming in the first half.
