In a season full of notable performances, Nevada senior Jade Redmon added a first on Monday.
For the first time in her career, Redmon was named the Mountain West women’s basketball player of the week, the conference announced Monday.
It is the second weekly conference award this season for the Wolf Pack; Terae Briggs earned a player of the week honor in December. It’s the first time since the 2014-15 season that Nevada has received multiple conference awards in the same season.
