Pack's Damanhoury begins two-day sentence for DUI

Wolf Pack offensive lineman Ziad Damanhoury, who was arrested July 28 on misdemeanor charges of DUI and driving the wrong way on a one way street, began a two-day sentence Thursday night.

Damanhoury was booked at 8:12 p.m. Thursday night and a Washoe County Sheriff spokesperson told the Reno Gazette-Journal he was scheduled to be released Saturday.

Damanhoury, a junior, is a 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive guard from San Diego, He played 10 games for Nevada in 2015, starting the last eight. His starting debut came Oct. 10 after a slew of injuries hit the Wolf Pack's offensive line.
