Eric Cooper Jr.’s role with the Wolf Pack is pretty clear: Come off the bench and score, preferably from beyond the 3-point line. And for the majority of the season, Cooper has ably filled that role.
Despite coming off the bench in all but one of Nevada’s 23 contests this season, Cooper is second on the Wolf Pack in double-digit scoring games with 15, which is among the best in the nation for reserves.
Last season, his first at Nevada, Cooper showed flashes of strong offensive play, hitting the double-digit mark nine times as a freshman, including a pair of 20-point efforts.
