FRESNO, Calif. – The Nevada women’s golf team logged its best finish since September at the Fresno State Classic on Tuesday.
The Pack headed into the final round tied for sixth. With strong performances from sophomore Celyn Khoo and freshman Chaithra Katamneni, Nevada was able to hold onto the spot at the end of the tournament. The Classic marks the best finish since September when the squad was fifth in the Rose City Collegiate.
Khoo was the top finisher for Nevada, tying for 12th with a total score of 148. The Malaysia native improved two strokes from Monday’s round, shooting a 73 on Tuesday.
