Ten years later, the Wolf Pack exacted a small measure of revenge.
On the exact 10-year anniversary of Montana’s stunning NCAA Tournament win over Nevada, a wire-to-wire victory over the fifth-seeded Wolf Pack, the Grizzlies looked like they were going to do the same thing Wednesday night at Lawlor Events Center. Montana led Nevada for the first 37 minutes, 33 seconds behind a barrage of 3-point hits, but Nevada closed strong to score its first postseason win in four years and its 20th victory of the season.
