COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – When Nevada travels to Clune Arena to play Air Force, the Wolf Pack’s starters have learned to double-check the starting five just to make sure they’re still in it.
Last season, the Wolf Pack headed to Colorado Springs with a five-game road losing streak and coach Eric Musselman pulled starters D.J. Fenner and Elijah Foster and inserted Tyron Criswell and Lucas Stivrins into the first five. The result? An 86-63 win, the Wolf Pack’s most lopsided road victory in a Mountain West game.
On Wednesday, Musselman resorted to the same tactic with his team coming off back-to-back lopsided road defeats.
