For the Wolf Pack sales team, there’s good news and bad news.
We’ll start with the bad news: The Wolf Pack football team’s season-ticket base has gone from 11,352 fans last season to 9,751 fans this year, a decrease of 1,601 (a 14.1 percent fall in one calendar year).
The good news: This year’s smaller season-ticket base will create more revenue than last year’s base.
That oddity is a result of the $11.5 million renovation of Mackay Stadium this offseason. The addition of a new club level and seven sections of chair-back seating came with an increased ticket cost.
