The Nevada football team won five Mountain West games this season, and also picked up some off-the-field wins from the conference on Wednesday.
The Wolf Pack had 10 players honored with all-Mountain West selections, including the program’s first major MW award.
Running back Toa Taua was named the Mountain West’s freshman of the year in the voting results announced Wednesday. The Wolf Pack also had two first-team selections in the form of defensive end Korey Rush and linebacker Malik Reed.
