When the Nevada basketball team opens practice Friday, it does so with a new culture in place.
The team is yet to play a game under Eric Musselman, but the 50-year-old coach who had two stops running NBA teams has already put his imprint on the Wolf Pack program. Whether it was the 6 a.m. boot camp he ran, the team-bonding exercises, the new study-hall format or the timed mile-long run that took place this week, there’s clearly a new sheriff in town when it comes to Nevada hoops.
“It’s been a grind mentally,” senior forward Lucas Stivrins said.
