Pack notes: SDSU sets an interesting record

News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 57-54 loss to San Diego State on Tuesday night.

* San Diego State’s offense set an interesting record in the win over Nevada. The Aztecs’ 28.8 percent shooting from the field was the lowest of a Division I road team that has won a game this season. Teams that shot less than 30 percent from the field are 11-170 this season. Nevada has held three teams below 30 percent shooting this season, including Montana State (29.8 percent) and Holy Names (28.6 percent).

Freshman Cameron Oliver said he thought the game was Nevada’s best defensive effort of the year.
