The Wyoming football team’s results this season aren’t pretty.
The Cowboys are 0-6 and have lost by an average of more than two touchdowns per game. Wyoming’s last five losses have come by double-digits. And the last time the program stayed within single-digits of a team was its season opener, a 24-13 home loss to an FCS team, North Dakota.
But as Nevada prepares to play at Wyoming on Saturday, coach Brian Polian doesn’t see an 0-6 team.
“I don’t know why they’re 0-6, and I’m not saying that just to say that,” Polian said after Monday’s practice.
