Pack notes: Plenty of reasons for lethargic first half

SAN JOSE, Calif. – News and notes from Nevada’s 61-55 win over San Jose State on Wednesday night.

* The Wolf Pack played one of its poorest halves of the season in the first 20 minutes against SJSU as it was outscored, 31-22, made just 30 percent of its shots from the field, didn’t grab an offensive rebound, had just two assists and generally looked lethargic. There were a few reasons for that kind of play.

Nevada used a new starting lineup, Tyron Criswell threw up on the team bus earlier in the day, Marqueze Coleman missed Tuesday’s practice and didn’t get to San Jose into Wednesday afternoon following his mother’s heart surgery, D.
