Pack notes: Lawlor crowd credited in the win

News and notes from Nevada’s 79-75 win over Montana on Wednesday in the CBI.

* The Wolf Pack more than broke even for its first-round CBI game Wednesday against Montana. Nevada had to pay $40,000 to host the game and estimated it would need to sell 2,500-3,000 tickets to make its money back. The Wolf Pack drew 4,524 fans, a rowdy group at that.

“One of the big takeaways in that locker room was how unbelievable the energy inside of Lawlor was tonight,” Nevada coach Eric Musselman said. “We didn’t know what would happen for a crowd standpoint.
