News and notes from Nevada’s 77-68 win over Morehead State on Wednesday night in the CBI championship series.
* The Wolf Pack’s crowd of 7,431 fans was the third largest of the season for Nevada behind only the UNLV game and senior night game against New Mexico. It was the largest crowd for a CBI game since game three of the championship series between Oregon and Creighton on April 1, 2011. That game, played at Oregon, drew 9,335 fans, a mark the Wolf Pack hopes to beat Friday night.
“It feels so great,” guard D.J. Fenner said of the loud home crowds in the CBI.
