Pack notes: Foster make huge impact down stretch

News and notes from Nevada 87-80 overtime win over Colorado State on Sunday afternoon.

* Wolf Pack forward Elijah Foster didn’t play the first time Nevada met Colorado State earlier this month. He was on the court this time around and ended up being one of the differences in Nevada’s victory.

Foster stepped up after Cameron Oliver fouled out with 4:52 remaining and had a strong overtime period. Foster, who didn’t play in the first game because of a team-rule violation, had 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. It was perhaps the sophomore’s best game at Nevada.
