Pack notes: Cooper transferring; change to Muss' contract

For the fourth straight season, the Wolf Pack basketball team will have at least one player transfer.

Eric Cooper Sr. announced Wednesday afternoon via Twitter that his son, Eric Cooper Jr., who averaged nearly 10 points per game off the bench for Nevada last season, will not return to the Wolf Pack.

The younger Cooper told the Reno Gazette-Journal his parting with Nevada was of mutual interest.

“I just wanted to find a new opportunity,” Cooper told the RGJ. “I really enjoyed my time here. I really love this place and Reno has been great to me.
