Wolf Pack senior point guard Marqueze Coleman, who tried to gut his way through two games in the Mountain West Tournament, will not play when Nevada hosts Montana in the CBI on Wednesday.
Coleman, who severely sprained his ankle Feb. 24, didn’t practice Sunday or Monday and has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game, coach Eric Musselman said. His availability for future games is unknown.
“He did not even try to practice yesterday, so we’re moving on,” Musselman said of the Wolf Pack’s brief practice on Sunday night. “Game-planning for Montana, he’s out of the game plan, whereas going into the Mountain West Tournament we prepared for him to give us 10-15 minutes.
