Pack men’s golf 15th at Border Oympics

LAREDO, Texas – The Nevada men’s golf team placed 15th on Saturday at the Border Olympics at Laredo Country Club.

Heavy rains Friday shortened the event from 54 to 36 holes.

Grant Booth led Nevada with a 3-over 147 in the tournament, which was tied for 52nd. Freshman Travis Fredborg was a shot back and Nick Fuller, Corey Eddings and Jooho Lee were three back at 150.

Baylor won the team title at the 18-team event.

Next up for the Pack is The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford at Stanford Golf Course on March 24-26.
