Carson Strong wanted a team to believe in him as much as he believed in that team, so when he got that feeling from Nevada he wasted no time committing.
The three-star quarterback from nearby Vacaville, Calif., pledged Tuesday to play football for the Wolf Pack, becoming the first traditional commitment in the program's 2018 recruiting class.
“I knew that they had all of the confidence in me to lead the program and that was my No. 1 thing when looking at schools," Strong told the Reno Gazette-Journal after committing to the Wolf Pack. "I wanted a school that believed in me as much as I believed in them.
