It’s not exactly a vacation but the Nevada baseball team is in the midst of an 11-day excursion to Albuquerque.
The Wolf Pack left for the Duke City last Wednesday to play a three-game series at New Mexico with its season on the line. Nevada needed to win two out of three against the Lobos to qualify for the Mountain West Tournament and did so by taking the first two games of the series. Nevada’s loss in the series finale clinched the MW title for New Mexico, which meant the Lobos would host this week's conference tournament.
