The Wolf Pack has put together an upper-echelon coaching staff on the thriftiest of budgets.
Eric Musselman, who completed his three-man assistant-coaching staff last week with the addition of former UNLV head coach Dave Rice, had put together an impressive group without breaking the bank.
Musselman ranks eighth out of 11 Mountain West coaches in guaranteed salary and his new assistants look like bargains, too. Rice will make $75,000 this season; Yann Hufnagel, formerly of Cal, will make $90,000; and Ronald Dupree, an ex-NBA player who was at LSU last season, will make $73,000. Those figures were obtained by the Reno Gazette-Journal on Monday following a public records request.
