The Wolf Pack football team completed its staff Wednesday with the hiring of offensive line coach Jonathan Himebauch, a former co-captain at USC who is well-traveled on the coaching circuit.
Himebauch, 40, most recently coached the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts as the team’s assistant head coach/offensive line coach. He’s also coached three other CFL teams: the Calgary Stampeders (2003), Montreal Alouettes (2009-11), where he won two Grey Cup titles, and Edmonton Eskimos (2014).
A source told the RGJ on Wednesday afternoon that Himebauch had agreed to a deal with Nevada. FootballScoop.com also reported the hire. The Wolf Pack has confirmed the move yet.
