The Nevada baseball team beat San Diego State, 6-5, in 10 innings on Friday at Peccole Park.
The Aztecs scored twice in the ninth to tie the game but Nevada claimed the win with a run in the bottom of the 10th.
Ty Pennington (2-0) picked up the win with one inning of relief. Christian Stolo started on the mound for Nevada (12-12, 5-4 MW), pitching 6.1 innings, giving up three runs (all earned).
Shortstop Justin Bridgman went 3-for-5 at the plate while designated hitter Cole Krzmarzick also was 3-5 with two RBI to lead Nevada.
