Many coaches would look at the Nevada baseball team’s early-season schedule fill up with dread.
The Wolf Pack opens the season Friday with a doubleheader against Northwester in Mesa, Ariz., the first of eight straight games on the road. In all, Nevada plays 12 of its first 13 games on the road. But instead of being frightened by that potentially daunting road task, first-year coach T.J. Bruce loves it.
"You have to win on the road,” Bruce said. “That’s the bottom line. You have to play well on the road. I think it’s good to be honest with you.
