Having seemingly wrapped up its 2016 recruiting class, the Wolf Pack basketball team has an offer out to four-star point guard Ishmael El-Amin, who lists Nevada among his favorites during the early stages of his recruiting process.
El-Amin is the son of ex-UConn guard Khalid El-Amin, a former McDonald's All-American who won a national title with the Huskies before playing a season in the NBA and the last 14 years professionally overseas.
The younger El-Amin, from Minnetoka, Minn., is a 6-foot-1 guard who plays for Hopkins High School, which ranked 11th in the nation last season by MaxPreps.
