Nate Burleson, a Wolf Pack alum who played 11 seasons in the NFL, is joining CBS' The NFL Today show Sunday mornings for the 2017 season.
Burleson currently co-hosts NFL Network's Good Morning Football and now will have a role on one of the premier lead-in shows to Sunday's games.
The 35-year-old will join host James Brown, ex-Steelers coach Bill Cowher, former Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason and ex-Giants quarterback Phil Simms, who is moving from the broadcast booth to the pre-game show. Burleson replaces former Jets defender Bart Scott. Record-breaking tight end Tony Gonzalez also won't return to the show.
