Wednesday night at Lawlor Events Center, the Nevada women’s basketball team found out what it was like to run out of time. Literally.
The Wolf Pack’s Camariah King hit a 3-pointer to bring Nevada to within a single point of Mountain West-leading Boise State, but her shot went through just as the final horn sounded. Just like that, what had turned into a dramatic final act was suddenly over, with a spirited Nevada second-half comeback falling just a bit short.
