Another week, another new milestone reached for Nevada basketball — although the team’s focus won’t be changing at all.
The Wolf Pack (2-0) moved up to the No. 6 spot in the AP Top 25 national rankings on Monday, its highest-ever ranking in the poll. Nevada opened the 2018-19 season with solid home wins over BYU and Pacific.
Only top-ranked Duke, Kansas, Gonzaga, Virginia and Tennessee are ranked ahead of Nevada.
