Notes: Wolf Pack will plays before its largest crowd ever

The Wolf Pack football team has played on some big stages before.

In 2007, it played before 84,078 fans at Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium.

In 2009, it played before 80,795 fans at Notre Dame Stadium.

In 2013, it played before 73,847 fans at Florida State’s Doak Campbell Stadium.

But, on Saturday, the Wolf Pack will experience a new stage: playing in front of more than 100,000 fans.

“It’s a stage we don’t get to play on very often,” Wolf Pack coach Brian Polian said.

Nevada’s game at No. 17/18 Texas A&M on Saturday is expected to draw a near-capacity crowd as Kyle Field holds 102,733 fans after undergoing a $450 million renovation this summer.
