Things didn’t go well for Nevada, which was favored in the game but lost 40-20 at Mackay Stadium.
It was basically a no-show by the Wolf Pack – “We laid an egg,” Brian Polian said after the game – and nobody on Nevada’s roster has forgotten that game as the teams prepare to play again Thursday.
“It still bothers me,” Polian said this week. “I’m not going to speak for the players, but it bothers me.
