COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 44-27 loss to Texas A&M on Saturday at Kyle Field.
* Wolf Pack RB James Butler, who started the season slowly, hit the 100-yard mark for the second time in his career. Butler, a sophomore who had a 100-yard game against UNLV last season, rushed for 107 yards on 17 carries (6.3 yards per carry). Butler had just 98 yards on 23 carries in the first two games.
“He’s been thirsty to make things happen,” teammate Don Jackson said. “He feels like it’s been a slow start for him.
