* Wolf Pack coach Brian Polian was not happy with a false start called about Nevada K Spencer Pettit in the fourth quarter that ultimately led to a missed extra point. With Nevada trailing 28-20, Pettit was called for a false start on the point after. Polian said New Mexico forced him into moving early.
“I was very, very upset with the PAT where we were called for a false start,” Polian said. “I asked the officials before the game to pay attention to New Mexico barking out a false cadence trying to get us to jump.
